Arrive before 6pm to take advantage of our pre-dinner cocktail hour(s). Between 2pm & 6pm we have a special menu of cocktails: 2 of the same for £12. It’s the perfect start to an evening by the harbour.
This weekend we are trialling 2 new dishes on the specials board which we hope you’ll like enough for them to hit the main menu. Come and judge for yourselves….A beautiful, delicate & refreshing Tomato Consume with elegant cut spring vegetables, both vegan & gluten free. And a main dish of indulgent bisque from local shellfish shell, Cornish Saffron & local fish. The depth is outstanding. We hope you think so too.
In addition to the menu, we also offer daily specials. These feature items that are market lead so that we can utilise a special catch or a seasonal ingredient. It can be anything from Lobster to Weaver fish, Hake to Gurnard, Bavette to Pork Belly or Asparagus to Elderflower. Come and visit and see what the chefs create.

WHAT IS BRUNCH?
Brunch says…”I’ve got time”. It says “I’ve paid my dues & now I’m cashing in”. It says “Indulge, treat yourself, throw caution to the wind”. We say, “Come on in, sit by your harbour, order a Breakfast Martini with Old Tom Marmalade Gin & a Breakfast Steak sourced from local fields and pretend like the world is your oyster”. What time is it? Well it’s definately not early enough for breakfast and it’s definately too early for dinner. What time is it then? “Who cares”. It’s your time. Your down time. Do what you like, have what you want…..it’s BRUNCH and I feel a song coming on…..

Why don’t we do roasts in the summer? Well honestly it’s that we just don’t have the room. Pre for roast takes about 3 days and takes up an enormous amount of space. During peak summer months we are very busy with brunch & evening service (which pays for us to stay open in the winter for our lovely locals). It would be great if we had a prep kitchen off site and a couple of extrs chefs but the cost of that is too prohibative sadly. But take a look at the brunch menu. We hope you’ll find something to enjoy.
