YOU

…and a evening to remember…

It’s time for our winter events season and our launch event ‘Grape ‘V’ Grain by Sharps Brewery is one you will not want to miss!

A collaboration of notable talent to bring you a tasting menu like no other.

Not only will you be delighted with 7 courses of delectable dishes created by 4 talented chefs and not only will each of your 7 courses be paired with a properly chichi wine, oh no. You’ll also be treated to a carefully paired beer. Yes, a beer pairing. And even if you don’t usually drink beer, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how well this considered pairing enhances your meal. Especially when it’s closer to champagne than your friendly neighbourhood stout. This kind of stuff splits a room! And that is why you’ll be asked for your opinion. You know how much we all like to be asked our opinion.  We’ll want to know which you preferred with each delectable dish….

The Grape? Or the Grain?

It’s not an evening that takes itself too seriously. Food should be engaging don’t you think?

But…you will be able to dress a little dapper. It is an occasion to wear that velvet jacket you bought for an awards night you dare not wear on a casual night out and your heels you can’t do cobble streets in. Definitely invite your friends to join you because it will be one of those special nights where you let your hair down and really have a good time.

I mean, how often do you get a collaboration like this right on your doorstep.

The ticket price per person is £95

Ticket price includes 7 courses, 2 drinks per course and INDIDOG will donate £10 from each ticket sold to The Fisherman’s Mission.

One not to miss…book now.

INDIdog Head Chef Alfie

Alfred Hazlit

Alfie’s dishes are flavour lead with beautifully elegant plating. His processes before plating are intriguing and complex, a talent gained through years of experience and creative exploration.

Alfie came to Falmouth as an Art Student and his artistic flair found its home in local kitchens and most pivotally as Sous Chef and Head Chef for Arty Williams of The Cove and ultimately Head Chef for Micheal Cain of the same venue.

ED HUGHES

BEER SOMMELIER SHARPS BREWERY ROCK

It’s as important to pair your grain as it is your grape which is why Ed is regularly invited to feature BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen.

His accredited knowledge of beer lead to Ed working closely with some of the country’s most recognisable chefs: Paul Ainsworth, Nathan Outlaw, Jude Kereama, Tom Brown and so it is no surprise to hear he was responsible for the Mariners Pub, Rock collaboration with Paul Ainsworth and Sharp’s Brewery.

For this event Ed has worked with each chef to pair a ‘Grain’ with each dish and even a beer cocktail to welcome you. You’ll be amazed at the breadth of his choices and you’ll love the effect he’ll have on the dishes themselves.

INDIDOG

THE TEAM

We’ll all be there to support this exciting collaboration and spending as much time with you as we possibly can. We could not be more thrilled to be working with suppliers and talent that have always been so supportive of INDIDOG since our launch.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

NON REFUNDABLE

Once you purchase your ticket it is non refundable. You may gift your ticket to a friend or loved one.

We are not able to cater for dietry requirements

At INDIDOG we are usually extremely happy to help you with dietary requirements, intolerances and allergens however this event is not a time we are able to do so.

This is a night where a great many collaborators who are not permanent employees of the restaurant are catering. It is a tall order to come up with a dish that a number of people you haven’t worked with before are to help you produce. This means that on this occasion, we must ask you not to book if you cannot or will not be happy to accept the menu / dishes you are given on the night.

We have lots of other events in the near future and hope that you will forgive us and remember how much we do usually bend as much as we can to meet your needs. Please don’t shout at us. We just can’t cater for you this time.

THE MENU IS A SECRET

Part of enjoying the evening is the element of surprise. We will not be revealing the menu until the evening.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do we have to sit next to someone we don't know?

You book your tickets and we will sit you on your own table as would be usual for a general seating arrangements. We may run out of smaller tables so you may want to tell us in your comments if you are happy to sit next to strangers. This may give you a greater chance to get a ticket.

I have a dietry requirement

At INDIDOG we are usually extremely happy to help you with dietary requirements, intolerances and allergens however this event is not a time we are able to do so.

Do I get to meet the chefs?

The chefs will be crazy busy but you will be able to see them at work over the pass as our kitchen is 100% open to the dining area. That is what makes INDIDOG that little bit more compelling. They will chat to you if they have a minute. They have in the past and we’ve even had the odd chef sign an item of clothing!

I need wheelchair access

INDIDOG is fully accessible by wheelchair. There is disabled parking right next to us on Church Street Car Park.

Can I sit next to the window?

As is always the proceedure, we don’t promise any particular seat or table to any customer. We allocate seats on the day once we know how many we are catering for and what requirements customers have.

Can I still bring our dog?

On this occasion we are not going to invite dogs. The reason is we will be flying around at super high speeds to get a huge number of dishes out at the same time. We love dogs, you know we do but they won’t be allowed to lie about on the floors this evening and there will be alot of strangers walking around with wine and a PA system with speakers etc. It wouldn’t be appropriate for this event. ANY other time dogs are very welcome indeed.

Can we come later than 7pm

You can if you want to but we will begin service at 7pm and due to the high volumes of dishes in the kitchen each dish will need to left on your table even if you are not seated. There are no discounts for dishes not eaten drinks that you choose not to accept.

What time will it finish?

Around 10.30pm

Can I bring the children?

This event won’t be suitable for children. This is a wine and beer pairing event so it would not be appropriate. Children above 15 are welcome but the ticket price is the same. We will not be able to give them all of the 14 drinks accompanying the meals but we would be happy to let them have a couple of drinks if they are dining with at least one parent. There is no discount on ticket pricing.

Can you save me a ticket?

Sadly that would not be fair. Plus we would probably make a mistake. Better to let the computer keep everyone’s details and bookings safe in the GDPR safe system.

Is there a waiting list?

If you follow us on social media we will post if there are any tickets available. You are also welcome to leave your details and we will phone you as soon as we know more.
